TASTING NOTES
Enticing aromas of lime and green apple, followed by orange peel on the nose. On the palate fresh citrus rules with hints of crunchy peach, a streak of grapefruit and minerality on the mid palate. This vintage is fun and racy pointing directly to Naramata Bench Albariño.

Sip with fried calamari or travel to the Baja and pair with some zesty Mexican Fish Tacos.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
For the first time since releasing our single varietal Albariño,100% of the fruit comes from Lone Hand Ranch, our estate vineyard. Hand picked in two lots; vines were leaf thinned shortly beforehand to ease the picking process. Gently whole cluster pressed, then cool fermented in stainless tanks for 2 weeks until dry.

92 Points Treve Ring Tasted July 2022

This year, for this first time, the entirety of this fruit comes off their estate Lone Hand Ranch. It was picked in 2 lots, whole cluster pressed and cool fermented in stainless until dry. Albariño it is, with white peach, apricot fuzz, lime pith, river stones, a lick of anise, and fresh green herbs, the latter more an Okanagan effect. The whole has a buzzy, fresh vibrato undercut that finishes with a lingering saline note. Naramata pure, this is a lovely version, drinking very smartly now.

Lifted bouquet of fresh white peach, nectarine and green mango. Fresh, crisp and bright, excellent intensity and fresh saline acidity. Good length. Excellent typicity.
