For the first time in eight vintages, Figaro is dominated by Roussanne. The Roussanne portion of the blend is entirely puncheon fermented and hails from Sev’s vineyard on Tuc-el-nuit Road. The remaining 20% Viognier portion was sourced from Black Sage Road and is partially fermented in neutral oak barrels.
Integrated nose of apples and yellow fruits with pronounced whiffs of chamomile are followed and supported by expressive flavours of pear and Jonagold apples sprinkled with shortbread crumbs. A core of blanched almonds with a dusting of ginger lingers on the finish.
We refer to Figaro as our “winter white” and with its almost meaty quality we like to pair it with the Marseille’s inspired bouillabaisse.
Varietally, Roussanne is well known for its ageability, looking forward to taste this vintage in another 5-6 years.

The fattest of Terravista's unusual and delicious alternative whites, this blend of Rousanne with 20% Viognier hits a fine line between flesh and zest, citrus and orchard fruit, violets and lillies, capturing the finer elements of each variety. It's highly satisfying, with 14% alcohol unnoticed when properly chilled. The palate offers a bit of tannic grip, leading to a gently bitter finish (pleasantly so). Very good length.
