FIGARO 2020 - Released October 5, 2021

Roussanne (48%), Marsanne (35%) and Viognier (17%)

TASTING NOTES
Marsanne wraps its arms around this vintage giving it elegant structure. Bright blossom and biscotti on the nose with citrus, perfumed pear, honeysuckle and anise on the palate. With a textured and lengthy finish, Roussanne is lifted by the delicate floral touch of Viognier. This vintage is balanced with skillful acidity. Look for a deepening of complexity and ripe citrus after a few years in the cellar.

Pair with Coq au Vin Blanc and chunks of rustic sourdough in cooler months; or grilled skewers with apricot salsa in the summer.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Fruit was hand-picked and gently pressed in small batches from Webster's Vineyard in Osoyoos, Sev's Tuc-el-nuit Vineyard and Raisin D'Etre on the Naramata Bench. Roussanne and Marsanne were barrel fermented and aged. 78% of the Marsanne and Roussanne were co-fermented, lees stirred for 3 months and matured on lees for 6 months in French oak barrels and neutral oak puncheons. The Viognier portion of this Rhone Blend was stainless steel fermented.
