Terravista Albarino 2017, Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley 

"What a delight. Brisk with bright, youthful, electric yellow fruits, this is Year 4 of the Terravista Albarino where 63 per cent comes off the home Lone Hand Ranch with the rest from the Gravelbourg Vineyard, on Black Sage Road in Oliver. Limes and nectarines, bright and juicy, ridiculously tasty and unabashedly B.C., this wine should scare the Spanish. Floral, stony, mineral, grassy, lemony and more, the food matches are endless. I’m guessing it’s all sold out so look for this in restaurants and get on the list to buy it next year. Brava Senka"

Terravista Figaro 2017

"Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada In 2017, Figaro turned back time to 2010 when they had first added marsanne to what had become a  viognier/roussanne  Figaro blend. The ratio in ‘17 is 53 percent  roussanne , 34 percent viognier and 13 percent marsanne . The viognier and marsanne comes out of the uber stony, Similkameen Valley; the roussanne is from the warm Oliver region. The roussanne and marsanne are puncheon fermented before ageing up to 10 months sur lie. The palate is electric with peachy, nectarine fruits with a dusting of dessert sagebrush. As rich as it is, there is an undercurrent of acidity that takes on the weight and nutty notes in the finish. It’s so interesting the bottle seems to empty out in no time at all. Brava Senka."

"This is gorgeous, such a great example of this variety from the west coasts of Spain and Portugal. It has perfect pineapple, lemon/orange fruit with some greenness. It's smooth, bright and well balanced. Very good intensity and purity. The length is excellent. Tasted twice June 2017."

GOLD! National Wine Awards of Canada - Fandango 2016

"Perhaps the best ever edition of this wine, it is expressive in the extreme. You can sense the peaches and citrus of the Albariño, and the almond and botanicals of the Verdejo. The flavours are beautifully focused, with stone fruit, cream, snipped herbs and dusty minerals stamping the fresh finish. There is some nice weight and grip, which helps this blend linger in a most satisfying way. And so adaptable with food from gooseneck barnacles to grilled chorizo. Tasted June 2017."

"This is an excellent blend of two Rhone varieties: roussanne and viognier. It sports a lovely bright nose of yellow pear/plum, gentle spice, spearmint and anise. It's full bodied, warm yet fresh and bright with apricot and spice on the finish. Excellent length. Tasted June 2017"

National Wine Awards of Canada (FIGARO 2013) – GOLD!

A viognier/roussanne/marsanne blend, the Figaro offers complex honey, lemon candy, red apple, pear and melon aromas. It's a medium-bodied, viscous white with great focus, and the pear, red apple, peach, melon, honey, lemon and spice notes provide a veritable fruit salad of flavour and texture.
