       FIGARO 2017      Just Released!

  Roussanne (53%), Viognier (34%) & Marsanne (13%)

Tasting Notes

In 2017, as in our inaugural vintage of Figaro 2010, we were charmed to have Marsanne present in its blend.  Both Viognier and Marsanne hail from the Similkameen Valley and Roussanne from an Oliver vineyard.  Roussanne and Marsanne see puncheon fermentation and up to 10 months sur lie aging. Bottled unfined  and unfiltered June 2018.

Subtle and layered aromas of creamed peaches with a dash of nectarine and green almond, all resting on a round supple frame.  On the palate there persists a quiet richness and smoothness reminiscent of macadamia nuts.  Lingering over a glass is encouraged as it continues to reveal and finish on a lemon meringue note.
