Our blend of two white grape varieties, Albariño and Verdejo. The only wine of these grapes produced in Canada! Our 12th vintage of Fandango is composed of Verdejo (60%) and Albariño (40%), both estate grown at our Lone Hand Ranch vineyard (Sub GI label). Tough granitic soils of glacial origin characterize the vineyard.
Entirely Naramata Bench – this refreshing and complex blend of Verdejo and Albariño is a delight for the senses. Beautifully balanced and a touch more tropical this year - lime, pear, & green apple jumps out of the glass. Imagine taking a bite of crunchy fruit salad with ample nectarine drenched in the juice of a lime. The complexity of fruit flavours linger for a finish that is medium-long.
For first time ever, Verdejo is dominant in the blend. The Albarino and Verdejo were hand picked, and gently whole cluster pressed. Each varietal was fermented separately, in stainless steel tanks and aged for 5 months in steel. A true expression of Naramata Bench and the 2022 vintage.

Gismondi on Wine
"Fresh green herbs, lemon verbena, green papaya, pomelo lead this zippy, sleek white, nicely padded with subtle lees, and scented with sagebrush on the saline finish. Quite distinct, and worth seeking out."
