Verdejo (barrel-aged) 2019, FOCUS SERIES Released December 9th

This is our second release of a single varietal Verdejo - this time aged in neutral oak. Part of our FOCUS SERIES, our Verdejo is grown at our home vineyard on the Naramata Bench at Lone Hand Ranch and has the Sub GI label! 100% Naramata Bench. Tough granitic soils of glacial origin characterize the vineyard. 


Aromas of grass and gooseberry on the nose. The oak barrique sets the tone with almond and vanilla layered on green melon. Notes of grapefruit and lemon curd carry through with a crisp and refreshing backbone of acidity. 

Our oaked Verdejo would be lovely decanted (not ice-cold) and paired with a root vegetable tarte/tatin with nuts and goat cheese. We recommend drinking between 2021-2025.
