VIOGNIER 2022 Raisin D'Etre Vineyard - Wine Club Release May 12/23; Public Release May 19/23
Bursting with aromas of fresh citrus, crunchy melon, guava and pear which dance out of the glass. Orange peel follows and leads you into an enticing palate offering juicy stone fruit and sweet blossoms. The backbone of acidity is what sets this wine apart. Grown on a single vineyard called Raisin D’Etre on the Naramata Bench where diurnal temperatures and airflow create vibrancy and balance fresh and complex flavours. A Medium finish that asks for sun drenched days.
Pair with Pan Seared Lingcod and Green Olive Vierge.
For the first time ever, single vineyard Raisin D'Etre is showcased in bottle! The fruit was hand-harvested on Sept 26th. Gently whole cluster pressed, the juice was fermented in two batches, using two different yeasts.
