WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Hand harvested from our Rock Oven block in Okanagan Falls on October 22. The fruit was fermented 11 days in an oak vat with twice-daily punchdowns, then aged 18 months in French oak.

Rock Oven Block: 
This unique Cinsault block was planted in 2019 in with own rooted vines over just .33
acres of Rock Oven under the Peach Cliff overhang. The cliff overhang maintains higher temperatures, aiding in longer green canopy retention and ripening potential into the Fall. With Terravista Vineyards commitment to innovation and quality, we acquired the Rock Oven Block (featuring Cinsault and Cabernet Franc) as part of a larger cooperative farming and vineyard project with Syncromesh and JoieFamily Farm
in the fall of 2022.

Soft and sweetly red fruited aromatics here. A light thorny note adds to the lift. Light and fresh and perfectly balanced in ripe softness and silky acids on the palate. There's a nice bitter herbal-floral note to the finish that adds another layer. This wine works so well and we should only emulate more of it! Brent Muller, June 2025
