TASTING NOTES
Our inaugural 100% Marsanne is a wine of incredible promise. While it will develop
beautifully in the cellar, it is radiant right now. Ripe pear and sun-warmed stone fruit
jump from the glass. The palate is a hive of beeswax, subtle spice, and fleshy orchard
fruits. It’s rich, golden, and deeply textured, with a long finish that coats the palate and
leaves you wanting another sip.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Hand picked and then gently whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel and then 20% aged in neutral French oak barrels. 

Alc: 13.3 RS: 4.5 g/L, pH: 3.26, TA: 6.1

"Terravista's inaugural standalone marsanne is a revelation of the diversity of BC wine country, as growers explore more and more grapes and opportunities to go beyond the norm. The nose is inviting and laden with fresh peach, baked pears ,and citrus oil. It is fresher and juicier than the French model, but that only makes it more fun to sip. The mouthfeel is broad and generous, and then the mineral, stony Naramata undercurrent shows up to brighten the finish. This is a great debut, and you should embrace it as soon as you can because these bottles are going to disappear fast."
