Following a miniscule crop in 2024, our Naramata Bench Viognier is back!
TASTING NOTES
From the beautiful, lake view vineyard, Raisin D’Etre on the Naramata Bench farmed by Rebel and Jim Solley, this 100% BC VQA wine is medium-bodied with serious structure. The nose opens directly with bright stone fruit, fresh floral notes, and beeswax. On the palate, white peach, apricot, apple, and tangerine hold balance and play with light vanilla, and a hint of anise. This weight and texture are driven by a clean, balanced backbone of acidity, carrying those sensory elements through to a long finish.
WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Viognier was hand-picked and gently whole cluster pressed, then 25 % barrel fermented in neutral French oak barrels and puncheons. The main component was stainless steel fermented, cool until dry.
