Rock Oven Block, Sustainably Farmed
This unique Cinsault block was planted in 2019 in with own rooted vines over just .33 acres of Rock Oven under the Peach Cliff overhang. The cliff overhang maintains higher temperatures, aiding in longer green canopy retention and ripening potential into the Fall. With Terravista Vineyards commitment to innovation and quality, we acquired the Rock Oven Block (featuring Cinsault and Cabernet Franc) as part of a larger cooperative farming and vineyard project.
En Terre, meaning 'earthen' or 'of the earth' is the embodiment of this special wine project. Grown under Peach Cliff's warmth, this rare Cinsault from Rock Oven Vineyard captures the late sun. A celebration of collaboration and innovative farming, it’s inspired by Da Vinci's exploration, embodying our commitment to intentional and sustainable farming. This wine is a tribute to the unique spirit of our land and the bighorn sheep that witness its growth.
